It was the end of the road for the Sussex Cardinals Land O' Lakes baseball team. The 2008 campaign will go down in history as a 10-9 season for the locals, who were knocked out of LOL Western Division playoffs Aug. 9 at Regner Park in West Bend. The West Bend 7-Up defeated the Cardinals, 4-2.
