Dunkirk Walker Style: Divide & Conquer
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/151197545.html#!page=10&pageSize=10&sort=newestfirst
"I have no interest in pursuing right-to-work legislation in this state," he (Walker) told reporters at the state Republican Party's annual convention.
So there we have it. Scott Walker is telling the truth?
Oops…there’s more:

"Any chance we'll ever get to be a completely red state and work on these unions -" Hendricks
- At this point union can be either public or private sector, while red is a clear sign the Hendricks wants to socially engineer WI from a purple state to a Republican state.
"Oh, yeah," Walker
"…and become a right-to-work?" Hendricks.
"What can we do to help you?" Hendricks
- Hendricks asking what “WE?” can do to help Walker make WI a right-to-work state, which would help her business.
“Right-to-work laws forbid unions and employers to enter into agreements requiring employees to join a union and pay dues and fees to it in order to get or keep a job. Twenty-one states, mostly in the South and West, have right-to-work laws.”
http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Right-to-Work+Laws
- Either way it takes money away from the union that is supposed to represent the workers that are part of it. As we all know most unions give money to democrats, just so you know.
And…
"Well, we're going to start in a couple weeks with our budget adjustment bill," Walker.
- this is in response to right-to-work which Walker says he opposes all of a sudden, even though we all know he co-sponsored a bill in 1993.
"The first step is we're going to deal with collective bargaining for all public employee unions, because you use divide and conquer."
- So why would there need to be a first step if Walker says he’s against a right-to-work law? Wouldn’t a straight shooter tell Hendricks that he is against “right-to-work” (Since he must have changed his mind since 1993)?
- If this is the case why would the tactic “divide and conquer” be needed if the only reason was for the state budget. I thought the Gov. was looking out for all of us? I didn’t think that Scott Walker would put us in camps of enemies and friends?
Go on…
"So for us," Walker
- As far as us he must mean him and his Fitz henchman.
"The base we get for that is the fact that we've got – budgetarily we can't afford not to.” Walker
- So Walker is saying in order to justify the first step to get to the right-to-work law is to use the excuse of the budget.
“If we have collective bargaining agreements in place, there's no way not only the state but local governments can balance things out” , Walker.
- Okay he has made this argument before the so called “tools” he gave to localities. Yet it still goes after democratic funding. Walker's main poltical opponent.
But now, he again get’s away from Public sector unions:
“. . . That opens the door once we do that. That's your bigger problem right there."
- Opens the door to what? Walker makes clear that public unions are the larger problem. That Hendricks private sector union problem can only be solved by going after the public sector unions first to divide them from the private sector.
I don’t know how many right-wingers I have read who say they are all for Private sector union rights, but are against public sector because it is funded by tax dollars.
Are you right-wingers now going to defend Walker when he makes it clear that his intent is to go after private sector unions, who have a 100% constitutional right!
Honesty seems to be in short supply for Waukesha Conservatives. Willing to sell their souls to “stick” it to the liberals, unions, anyone with an ideology left of their own and glutton themselves on their hoarded gold.
“Divide and conquer” are tactics used by dictators and authoritarians, and not by people in a democratic republic. A real leader seeks inclusion and consensus, a bully perfers the iron fist.
Am I, and other non-Walkerites, an enemy that has to be conquered?
