President Perry - sounds good to me!
Texas Governor Rick Perry is expected to announce he is a candidate for the GOP nomination for president over the weekend. Finally - the Republicans have a real candidate with strong potential. A candidate who appeals to Republicans, conservatives, and the Tea Party. Perry has experience. He is a social conservative. He has brought many jobs as well as economic growth to the state of Texas - similar to the plan our own Governor Walker has for Wisconsin. He is pro-business and supportive of the private sector. Governor Rick Perry will be the biggest threat to another Obama term out of any of the current GOP presidential wanna-be's.
FoxNews.com has said that Perry entering the race will "give the White House pause."
Perry has something the current White House occupant doesn't. Patriotism and a sincere respect for this country. Just what we need right now. Most of us are sick and tired of the anti-American attitude and lack of respect for the United States that keeps coming out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. We are fed up with the obsessive promotion of dependency upon the government as well as the utter disdain for those who are successful. We don't want the bigger government Obama envisions for us. We want America to be exceptional once again. We want America to be the leader - with people who are creative and take risks - to achieve great things. We want freedom and smaller government. We do not want the goverment to control every aspect of our lives and foster even more reliance on hand-outs, while personal responsibility and hard work become memories of the past.
It really is looking like the malaise of the Carter.... oops....Obama years will soon come to an end. Obama is too narcissistic and arrogant to consider a move to the middle, which could help him keep his job. But Obama won't change - he refuses to believe that what he is doing is wrong and he doesn't know how to be a leader. Let Barry Obama continue to live in his dream world. His own words and actions will seal his doom as a one-term president. Thankfully!
Oh sure, the lefties will gleefully point out that twenty years ago, Perry supported Al Gore. Well, we all live through moments of stupidity. Many conservatives used to be liberals or Democrats, then they grew up. Just like Ronald Reagan, Perry also had been a Democrat! Ronald Reagan even led a union at one time. But guess what? Reagan went on to be one of the best presidents this country has ever seen - as a Republican.
Rick Perry can do the same.
President Perry - has a nice ring to it!

This is going to be very emotional election and the ability of our candidate to inspire the populace will be critical. This should be a lot of fun to watch!!!

climate. And that whole selling arms to a terrorist nation thing? ... I suspect that
wouldn't fly very well either. Oh, but libertarians just love him! (wink, wink)
"Reagan came into office proposing to cut personal income and business taxes.
The Economic Recovery Act was supposed to reduce revenues by $749 billion
over five years. But this was quickly reversed with the Tax Equity and Fiscal
Responsibility Act of 1982. TEFRA—the largest tax increase in American history—
was designed to raise $214.1 billion over five years, and took back many of the
business tax savings enacted the year before. It also imposed withholding on
interest and dividends, a provision later repealed over the president's objection.
But this was just the beginning. In 1982 Reagan supported a five-cent-per-gallon
gasoline tax and higher taxes on the trucking industry. Total increase: $5.5 billion
a year. In 1983, on the recommendation of his Spcial Security Commission—
chaired by the man he later made Fed chairman, Alan Green-span—Reagan
called for, and received, Social Security tax increases of $165 billion over seven
years. A year later came Reagan's Deficit Reduction Act to raise $50 billion."

by the fact that it's an online university. Just hop in your car and head south. Please.

1) Ending the Cold War.
2) Reaganomics: Reagan's mix of across-the-board tax cuts, deregulation, and domestic spending restraint helped fuel an economic boom that lasted two decades. Reagan inherited a misery index (the sum of the inflation and unemployment rates) of 19.99%, and when he left office it had dropped to 9.72%. President Obama take note: Under Reaganomics, 16 million new jobs were created.
3) Revitalizing the GOP and conservative movement (gee, isn't this what Obama has done during his time in office?)...
And there is more at the website I mention above.
Ronald Reagan was one of the best presidents that this country ever had. As for "selling arms to the terrorists" which Reagan declined to know anything about - yet accepted the blame for (wow, what a concept! A president who is willing to take the heat for something he didn't even do!) seems Barry O. and his crowd, through a program with the ATF, have been giving guns to Mexican drug cartels (although the press isn't really too interested in bringing this to the attention of the public): http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2011-06-15-ATF-border-guns-hearing_n.htm
But that's OK - cuz it's Obama!
Wonder if The One had fun meeting the Packers?

of my age and the fact that I retired so many years ago . Does not mean that I
will not go to school. As for schooling this year I have decided to take classes .
With the rest of my time going to volunteer and check on my business . As for
Hayett , he is far brighter than I . He would not need to try and keep his brain
awake . With that said I will pick you up at 8:00 every morning Pelosi . Do not
worry I am willing to drive every day . I was smart enough to be able to afford
not to car pool . But like my other volunteering I would do this for you ! I will even
change the time if you would like . But if you are not able to go to MSOE or UWM
Just make it early for MATC is not that close to where I would go . Let me know
and have a great day .

I noticed you're not able to refute any of the tax and spend "facts" presented by
the author.
I apologize in advance if I've offended your sensibilities by tarnishing the image of
your golden calf ... or is it sacred cow ... moo! Speaking of the dairy state, this is

I notice you're unable to refute any of the "Top Ten Achievements" of President Reagan. Keep in mind, these achievements are only the "top ten" - the number of achievements by Reagan dwarf this tiny number. Not enough room to list them all.
Wonder if The O will ever be able to even have a list?
Now, the blog topic of my post really was Rick Perry. Wonder if you can address any thoughts on Perry stepping into the race for Prez?

Heck, I've got a tomato plant that's far brighter than Hayett. How's that for putting
your intelligence into perspective, irkesevery1off?

teachers will not mind . But do not cheat by copying from it during tests !!

I'd take Ron Paul over any other candidate period!
If you've heard what he has had to say over the years you would know he has had an honest and consistant message. He dosn't change ideals with the political breeze. He got my vote in the 08 primary and will have my vote again.
But if you support Perry I suppose you believe in divine intervention saving the economy...
Perry spokeswoman Catherine Frazier told FoxNews.com. "And the governor believes in the power for prayer and believes it is important that we as a nation join together and pray for wisdom and guidance in finding solutions to the problems that we face."
It’s not the first time Perry has sanctioned a day of prayer in the state. In April, he called on all Texans to pray for rain for three days as the most of the state battled an extreme drought

As for Ron Paul - he'll be another one that the libs try to shove upon the Republicans ala John McCain. For some reason many liberals love this guy. And that has to give one pause. Why? Why did those on the left - especially the media - gush over John McCain UNTIL he was elected as the GOP candidate for President? Because they knew he would lose. As Paul would.
So this time around, we finally will have a candidate who has the smarts, poise, and common sense, who can take Obama on no problem. Can't wait for the future debates between these two - imagine Obama without a teleprompter - scary enough! Perry should do as well as Paul Ryan in this respect!
Perry is a breath of fresh air. The press and libs haven't ripped him to shreds like they have Bachman and Palin (hey, isn't the Democratic party supposed to be pro-women? Why does the media hate these two so much?) - yet, anyway.
And let them make fun of Perry's very religious beliefs. Many godless libs have worshipped Barry Obama and look where it's gotten them - as well as the country! Down a deep dark hole - with high unemployment, job losses, a lowered bond rating for the first time in history of credit ratings, bigger government, and Obamacare looming on the horizon to ruin the economy and job situation even more! Whoopee!

unnecessary military conflicts in American history. And I opposed it from the
beginning." - Ron Paul
Paul is not a spineless, warmongering loyalist to George Bush or the Republican
Party. Ya got to respect him for that.
Carl Hicks - Aug 13, 2011 5:39 PM
Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.
