VOTE ON TUESDAY, MAY 8TH!!!
Just a friendly reminder to all who read this blog - please remember to vote on May 8th. Pass this post on to others to ensure that they get out and vote, too.
Remember, Governor Scott Walker IS on the primary ballot - facing a "fake" Republican challenger. He needs your vote this Tuesday to win the first round before the June 5th general election.
In addition, I have provided a sample ballot (only for the voting area of which yours truly is registered. Ballots from other areas of the state may have additional races due to the Senate recalls.)

Please note: ALL voters can vote for Lieutenant Governor!!! There is no challenger to current Republican Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, so she does not appear on the ballot - there is NO Republican Lt. Governor primary race. However, even if you do vote for Governor Scott Walker as a Republican, YOU CAN STILL VOTE IN THE LIEUTENANT GOVENOR DEMOCRATIC RACE!!!
In the Lt. Governor field, Isaac Weix is the best candidate - running as a Democrat, he is really a Republican place-holder that could help ensure current Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch doesn't lose her job.
BE SURE TO GET OUT AND VOTE ON MAY 8TH!

Now, if the Urinal/Sentinal really wanted to be truthful, they would have printed: "Vote early (and often) on May 8th" followed up later by "Vote early (and often) on June 5th."
I can just imagine the accompanying story:
"Accomodations will be made for out-of-state voters - no one must be "disenfranchised" - after all, liberal judges in Madison have managed to block Voter ID requirements for the time-being, so go for it! All bets are off - and the ends justify the means! Walker must be defeated - and cheating will be encouraged, after all, we gotta win!"

Well there's already accommodations made for Out of State Money to buy votes for Walker ( 13,000,000.00 ) .....

Are you telling us that the boys who outfitted so many in cement shoes have not given to Falk or Barrett? Right Peter Pan!
jman99 - May 06, 2012 9:06 PM
Exactly the same # of people would vote for him this time as last if he was indeed as good as you make him out to be.
So what is he afraid of that he needs $13,000,000.00 in cash to run what should be slam dunk campaign?

jman99: Think Governor Walker has ANY control over the $$$ amounts of donations that come in for his campaign? And WHY shouldn't he take the money? After all, the Dems/unionistas/libs brought this all on themselves - in more ways than one. From the mismanagment of the state to begin with from the Doyle years to the present "recalls" and constant drama staged at the Capitol. To the classless displays of protests outside of Walkers private residence in Tosa. To the obnoxious behaviors at Special Olympics ceremonies.
I'd say Walker SHOULD accept every penny that comes his way! And you have the nerve to whine about it, jman99? Actions have consequences, jman99 - and one of the consequences of the bad behaviors by lefties in the Walker recall is that Walker received lots of $$$ from the good folks interested in seeing that he remain as Gov!!!

That would be the 1,128,159 people that voted for him!
Why dis/does Obama work so hard against Walker and for Barrett? Do we really want WI to look like Milwaukee and spend like Washington?
I expect to hear a repeat of the 2010 Washington Post report after the general election: "Walker won on Tuesday despite a strong push by the White House to keep the office in Democratic control."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/11/02/AR2010110208185.html
PS - Walkers fundraising is nothing compared to the out of state Union spending to date. Heck - it's not even half of what Barrett saved by using Walker's Act 10 to balance the Milwaukee budget!

I think you flatter both contenders too much.
But I do like to see you and hemmer face you Republican delusions.
Mucho - May 07, 2012 11:55 AM
Delusions? - Not often that I share them with Hemmer AND the Washington Post. It's not flattery to Walker or Barrett that Obama is involved - it's humiliating for him. Defeat for Barrett in 2010 with Obama's support and depsite the best efforts of the President's own OFA, Falk won't muster enough suppport to defeat two time loser Barrett in the primary.
You might want to check the plane you are piloting for smoke in the cabin. There are clear blue skies out here in reality.

education recently voted to completely abolish any post retirement benefit for him -
in his 31st year of service.
My friend has two neighbors, one a democrat and one a republican. Ironically, both
of those 2 neighbors work in the private sector and similarly lost post employment
benefits within the past 3 years. When each neighbor learned of what had
happened to my teacher friend, this is what they said:
Democrat: "Same thing happened to me 3 years ago. It wasn't right then and it's
not right now. It's immoral. I could see if it was someone with say, 10 years of
experience, but not 30+. I feel bad for you and am sorry that the same bad thing
that happened to me also happened to you."
MEpublican: "It happened to me so I'm glad it also happened to you. Too bad for
you. I doubt you deserved it anyway. I always thought you were lazy."
Think about this story when you vote soon.
ahemmer - May 08, 2012 7:03 AM
BS's story proves it!!! :)
For every "wonderful" story of how kind and compassionate Dems supposedly are, we can find thousands more that demonstrate the opposite - such as interrupting Special Olympics ceremonies, making a pig stye out of the state Capitol, dumping beer on the heads of those they don't like, terrorizing the Governor's family at their private residence, making death threats against Republican politicians, etc. Need I go on?
So cry me a river with your little "fable."
Now -
GO WALKER! Be sure to get out and vote! And don't forget - you CAN vote for the Democratic Lt. Governor - cast your vote for Isaac Weix!
Mucho - May 08, 2012 8:49 AM
Love a story that begins with "This one friend of my told me about a guy...."
