The Beggar-In-Chief
The following video has the potential to be a skit on Saturday Night Live:
After asking future brides and grooms to request that their guests donate to the "re-elect Barry" campaign in lieu of wedding gifts, and then having Michelle Obama solicite donations when sending in birthday wishes to the prez, the American people are now being treated to a pathetic beg-for-money video?
Barack Obama has disgraced the office of the President in more ways than one, and this plea adds to the list.
(And funny how the left implies Romney is a wimp, but Obama admits he has to clear his own donation to himself with Michelle?)
As for being so "grassroots" and having to depend upon those small contributions (unlike the Republican candidate for president), what does Obama call his $40,000-a-plate Hollywood fundraisers? or the $38,500.00 per couple upcoming Barry O. birthday bash? Chump change?
What a hoot. And what a clear-cut example of desperation. Maybe - just maybe - the Obama campaign is beginning to realize that President Kardashian's (oops!), President Obama's chances for re-election are slipping away...
Personally, I don't believe an un-presidential commercial showing the prez typing in his own contribution to his own re-election campaign is going to help. If anything, it will turn even more people off - as it should.
Good.

asking ma and pa Kettle to donate their money to a person who has collected more
money than anyone else in history by large corporations. Even with the help of the
accomplice media ! Plus the bold face lies coming out of his mouth\. PDLS's still think
that when someone points out that their King has no clothes . That they are just
whining ! What will it take again ? The last time somebody held so many heads
under the ground we had to finish WWII ! Is that when Mr. K will come up for air ?
Or will he just throw stones at someone he sees as a 12 year old girl ? Mr. K stop
being a bully !

What I have a problem with (and I am not alone on this one, as many others have mentioned what a good laugh they have had at the audacity of this Prez and the Missus) is the blatant request for money.
Give money to Obama instead of buying wedding presents for marrying couples!?! Wish Barack Kardashian a happy birthday - sez Michelle - and by the way, send along a donation, too!
Begging with no shame. None. The Obama's just don't get it - their own arrogance and expectations blinds them to how ridiculous, embarrassing, and goofy their begging appears - and they have taken the office of the president down another notch on the "respect" scale. Classless.
And yes, KKleger. Most of my blog posts use "facts" (I know, those pesky things that libs hate). Go back and read my stuff. Good grief! :)

What, 14 comments here and only four mention anything about the blog post?
Let's at least make some effort to stay close to the blog post topic and stop the name-calling and mud-slinging...
With that in mind, aside from the self-generated "money flow" problems, looks like the Democratic Congressman (Artur Davis, D-Alabama) who originally made a nomination speech for Barack Obama for President four years ago at the Dem. Convention, has decided to back and campaign for Mitt ROmney. (See: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2012/07/06/former_dem_artur_davis_squarely_in_romneys_corner_114711.html)
And as for Obama's attack on small and private businesses in general ("you didn't build that"), Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett's "small business round table" at Miss Katie's Diner on 7/31/12 had one - yes ONE - small business owner show up (and that person has been a Dem supporter for years...). See, Obama IS in big trouble. And the little ad showing him typing on his laptop - sending in a donation to himself - is just the tip of the iceberg.

Yes. Being new, you need to understand there are prerequisites, goshdarnit!!!!! You've got alot of nerve to comment on this topic before being held up to scrutiny.
"Most of my blog posts use "facts"."
That is 100% true..... as long as you include the quotation marks.
"Which facts got you so riled-up?"
Yeah! You also get extra points for listing any facts you can find.

@jman99: Your comment(s) are not going thru for the following two reasons:
1) First one was a personal attack at me. I've had enough. Tired of your stuff.
2) Second comment used an unacceptable term that the blocking technology at livinglakecountry did not allow to go thru. I did not delete it.
Clean up your act or go away.

However humorous, the blatant lie that Obama makes at the beginning when he looks straght at the camera and says that he does not get the large sums "like the other side" is worse than the panhandling. Does Bill Maher, George Clooney, Warren Buffet, Solyndra ring any bells Barry?
What a pathetic message - Don't save for your kids college, don't pay for tech school, don't pay for food, just save those extra Nickels and give them directly to me (on top of the $1billion I've already raised) and I'll keep your food stamps and unemployment checks coming. I wonder if the longer version helps people who can't afford a computer learn how to use their government paid cell phone to look up a local library with public access to computers so they can use their transportation vouchers to get there. "Check this box to donate directly from your unemployment check", "Click here to learn how much you can safely water down your baby's WIC formula to save enough money to give $5 extra per month"....
What a blood sucker.

I was simply comparing what you described a "wimp" marriage that you attribut to the President and First Lady to what must be a non "wimp" marrige.
ahemmer - Aug 03, 2012 2:43 PM
And the continued comment you keep trying to post is being blocked by livinglakecountry. I'll give you a hint. The word you are using is slang in many countries for (to put it nicely) "promiscous women" or, (not so nicely) "sl*uts"). Some even equate it to "f*ck."
I'm sure you know that, but you can feign ignorance...
