A Ryan/Romney Homecoming - Waukesha Expo 8/12/12
As many know, presidential hopeful Mitt Romney announced over the weekend that he had chosen Wisconsin's own Paul Ryan as his VP running mate. Republicans and conservatives like myself couldn't be happier! What an excellent choice.
Ryan brings so much to the ticket - with sound solutions and actual plans to solve the many challenges facing the country. Ryan is well-spoken, smart, and has the ability to hold his own against both Obama, Biden, other Democrats, and the media. The Democratic attack and distort machine will be in full swing. (Romney even made a plea during the rally in Waukesha to Obama: “This is a campaign about America’s future. So Mr. President, time to take your campaign out of the gutter and let’s talk about the real issues that people are facing.” How true. ) Romney and Ryan are well-prepared. All they have to do is put the focus on the issues and ideological differences between Romney and Obama. All they have to do is point to the failures and ineptitude of a president who has demonstrated over and over that he doesn't want America to be exceptional. With the selection of Ryan, Obama's anti-American policies are finally going to be forced out in the open. Obama won't be able to hide behind simply attacking Romney and avoiding discussions of any substance.
I was lucky enough to be one of the 13,000-plus in attendance at the Romney/Ryan Homecoming at the Waukesha Expo on August 12, 2012. This event - planned in a few hours - was unbelievable. (As was the traffic jam! - but no one really seemed to mind!) What an impressive gathering - huge crowds, lots of cheering, clapping, enthusiasm, and optimism all around. People ARE pumped! This is history in the making. Americans are gearing up to take their country back!
All I can say is WOW!!!
Here are some pics I took during the event:
So many people showed to support Romney and Ryan that the event had to be moved outdoors to accommodate the huge crowds...
The next President of the United States - Mitt Romney!!!
And Wisconsin's own - the future Vice-President - Paul Ryan!
My favorite candidate for the United States senate - Jeff Fitzgerald posing with one of his many supporters...
What an event to remember! Let's keep the momentum going. Be sure to vote on August 14th in the primary election. Let's focus on making Wisconsin a red state and help elect Romney and Ryan in to the White House come November! This election is so important, with the very future of America at stake.
“We are not going to change America into something we don’t recognize. We are going to restore it to what made us the shining city on the hill." - Mitt Romney (8/12/12)

need to hire a skycap to follow him around 24-7... From zero business experience to his
out of state insurance and financials that contributed to him plus win big if he killed
Medicare, and his sweet sweet voting record on Tarp & Women's rights... Thank you,

destroyed so bad on his blog he won't post me any more) This is somekind of
support group for them. They never address a point they are challenged on by the
truth they just go to their little spin and insults. Been waiting on Hemmer for days to
explain how the affordable healthcare law is socialism. She can't explain what she
doesn't understand of course.

You know, you liberals constantly claim how intelligent you are, how good your leaders are at delivering messages and giving speeches. Why do people like me totally disagree, and then sit here and laugh my rear-end off? It's Obama without a teleprompter, Joe Biden anytime he opens his mouth, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, etc... Then your side chooses Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to lead the DNC? Good Lord, I thought Howard Dean was bad! This is just one shining example of many the past few days....

No one killed Medicare. Obama and the dems are on track to kill Medicare and the U.S. Unless we reign in the spending on those entitlements. But more important is your liberal hypocrisy. In fact, I heard similar from a dem that Ryan served with on a committee. I couldn't help but laugh and hope America doesn’t get LCAT again. You seem to forget that nearly 4 years ago you voted Obama in the WH and then went on to worship him. He had less experience than Ryan!! 142 days served as a senator!! How quickly you libs come down with LCAT is truly a medical mystery. Hey, maybe Romney and Ryan will come up with a quick cure for LCAT! Naa, might cost too much.

ps...you win, again, "liberal liar of the week" award. Only one of your comments was rejected by me (I didn’t know you posted under another fake name Pierre!). You broke all the rules. If lying were one I would reject all. But can’t do that. Nor would I.
Your use of filthy words, and knowing you can't debate my facts and stay on subject, is why you were rejected. Try debating with some better language. So here's a tip: if you are so right with your opinions, since you have no data to back it up, use of such foul language only shows all our readers just how wrong you are.

On not this idiotic swan son again Hayett. Can't you come up with some original material for once? You've used tis same tired excuse to ban most of the world from your bolg.
Congrats, you are totally irrelevant now.

Exactly!!!!
Totally brings the center over to Obama. The big shift to the right has happened and Willard has sold his soul to the Tea Party.
Moderate republicans are beginning to distance themselves from the ticket. The crazy factions have taken over and want to cull moderate republicans from any ticket, tea party candidates need only apply.
That will now be the focus with Ryan on th ticket: there are no more republicans, only anti-social program, anarchist, tea party radicals running in this election bent on tearing down traditional American institutions.
And it's true!
All you have to do is go back to the Grover Norquist pledge and start there.
The Republican party is finished.

No, he won't. He has no plans to. If you would venture to read or learn about Ryan's plan to address the Medicare issue:
1) Seniors 55 and older: NO change to Medicare. None. Nada.
2) Anyone younger than 55 - will have Medicare OR an option to use Medicare dollars to purchase health insurance provider for up to $15,000.00 per year. If they find a better program and less costly, they pocket the difference.
See, the left is crying the sky is falling, when all Ryan is really doing is enabling the country to keep Medicare going. Unlike Obama - whose Obamination known as Obamacare guts Medicare - actually takes money away from the seniors - to the tune of $716 billion dollars! (See: http://blog.heritage.org/2012/08/01/obamacare-robs-medicare-of-716-billion-to-fund-itself/)
Can't wait for Ryan to compare his solution to Obama's plans to really run Medicare into the ground. And the left assumes that most seniors are too stupid to realize the difference. Ryan WILL get his message out. Seniors are not stupid. Even if the media refuses to let Ryan's plan out, the internet and other sources will.
Obama must be squirming. He's in a hole of his own making - and Ryan and Romney will use this - as they should - to their own advantage.
All Seniors (and others) need to know is that Ryan's plan for Medicare is designed to salvage it. Seniors 55 and older will not see ANY change. 55 and younger will not see Medicare destroyed - only a re-structuring that still provides for them, but gives them other options for health care insurance. Under Obama, Medicare is gutted, then will eventually disappear.

Romney/Ryan represent the type of change that can right the ship and begin a real recovery. Romney's pick of Ryan shows he's serious about real change just like Walker was.
The reaction from the Left: Mirror image of their reaction to Act 10. Shouting down speakers, screaming, total lack of civility and discourse. The name calling and the personal attacks will net them the same results they got in WI's failed recall - an invigorated, ambitious, positive campaign from Conservatives.
Contrast the uplifting, positive speeches and crowd reactions from the rally on Sunday to Obama's dreary, depressing, desperate attacks on the success of America. Romney is right, like jman, P4P, Georgedub, ... bloggers here, Obama's presidency has resulted in nothing but negatives, why expect his campaign and supporters to to anything but wallow in the gutter. It's a fun sideshow to watch. GOP crowds are leaving rallies with smiles and high spirits, DEms are stomping away from theirs, angry and on the attack.
The losing Madison recall strategy of divisive anger has gone national. Fortunately, for our children and their future, so has the winning strategy of the GOP!

Let them try to talk themselves into victory. They can't and they won't.

http://paulryan.house.gov/uploadedfiles/medicare_mailing_piece.pdf
You can read the whole thing.
One key section mentions the following for those age 54 and under:
"Medicare will subsidize each person's plan averaging up to $15,000.00 annually when fully phased in. This benefit will increase each year. Low income individuals and those with greater medical needs will receive additional help. No one will be denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions."
That blurb, folks, is off of Paul Ryan's own flyer that outlines his plan for Medicare and how to save it for future generations. And again - no changes AT ALL to Medicare for those 55 and older. Spread the word. Tell the seniors. The left cannot continue to lie about this one. It's too important.

Have already heard rumors that Biden will call in sick the night of the VP debates - he knows he is doomed!!! (Shouldn't the VP debate be called a "comedy show" if Biden does indeed show up???).
For more silliness and another comedy show, that demonstrates how the Dems are losing it over Medicare, watch the following:

Biden is a much more self made man than either Romney or Ryan.
Mucho - Aug 14, 2012 1:00 PM
Self made, How? You mean because he bought hair plugs and caps for his teeth and installed them himself? http://radioactiveliberty.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/biden-before-hair-plugs.jpg
Or do you mean because he comes from Big Oil (via Grandpa Joe) ?
Biden was picked for Obama's VP so Pelosi and Reid could show the old school Washing Liberal establishment that Uncle Joe would babysit Obama. Unfortunately for everyone, Biden has been asleep for 4 years.
Ryan was picked, not for votes, because Romney is serious about fixing the budget mess that has been left unchecked for 4 years. Even Obama understands that as far as IQ's go Ryan + Romney >>>> Obama + Biden. It's why he went on the attack instantly. Why you follow is obvious.
ahemmer - Aug 14, 2012 1:03 PM
Joe Biden (the "self-made man" (what in the world does that description have to do with anything???) according to jman99) vs. Paul Ryan in a debate?
Joe "we be gaffes" Biden? vs. Paul Ryan - intelligent, quick-witted, well-spoken, etc.
OK, jman99. You and the other libs here just keep 'em coming. Try to convince yourself that Biden is any match for Ryan. Or Obama is any match for Ryan OR Romney. Too funny!
