Oh the irony of it all...
Democratpalooza is now taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The circus IS in town!!!
And guess what? The Dems are having a hard time filling the 74,000 seats in the Bank of America football stadium in which Obama is scheduled to speak. The Dems have resorted to giving away free tickets to the event to college students and other pro-Obama volunteer groups (and busing them in). (See: http://news.yahoo.com/fill-stadium-obama-team-seeks-crowd-big-speech-173933399.html)
So Barry O. is having a hard time attracting crowds to hear "Hope and Change Part 2." Go figure.
Now comes the truly ironic part. What is necessary in order to attend the Democratic National Convention is....A PHOTO ID.
Imagine - the very people who claim that the poor and minorities are "disenfranchised" by having to provide a photo ID to vote REQUIRE a photo ID to attend their Convention!!!
Does that mean that the Dems don't want poor and/or minorities (aka: most of the Democrats own voter base) at their convention? After all, the Democrats seem to believe that the poor and minorities are too stupid and/or helpless to get a photo ID in order to vote, so what makes them think they'll have a photo ID on hand to attend Obama's "blame Bush and attack Romney" party?
Priceless.

I saw nothing like that in the article. All I saw was:
"Tens of thousands of people lined up at offices in North Carolina last weekend to get the credentials needed to secure a seat, Obama officials said."
Nothing there about Voter ID to vote. In fact there will be no vote as to the ticket as it is acclaimed. Besides, voting is by delegate sent by each state association so each state supports a plank in the platform.
You seem to know very little about US politics and the two party system and how it works Hemmer.

Well better than the freak show in Tampa ( how will they ever recover their reputation those poor Tampa residents ). More two faced, horses behinds gathered there tan any play on earth.

Pay particular attention to section 5.3, which details the photo ID requirement for "staff, visitors, and volunteers."
By the way, I didn't mention ANYTHING about requiring a photo ID to vote at the convention. I was talking about a photo ID to ATTEND the convention itself. Ironic, isn't it??? LOL...
And there is your dagger!!!

comments had nothing to do with Jmann, they had to do with Dumbya.
Now that you mentioned her, Jmann based on what I heard you have to show that
photo ID 3 times at the Democratic Convention before you can come inside to
watch Oboma's nose grow a foot. And now your going to sit here and defend this?
It truly is hard to imagine anyone making this stuff up!

Seriously Hemmer, you've been caught out again making bumble.

A more accurate reading of the article will state the following; "Imagine - the very people who claim that the poor and minorities are "disenfranchised" by having to provide a photo ID to vote REQUIRE a photo ID to attend their Convention!!!"
You may have read 'voter' ID into the paragraph instead of 'photo' ID.

the media attacks them to get rid of them and we are left with Rino's !!! But when it
comes to anything political the Rino's are so much better than the Dumocrats that it
still plays out as if Mitt was a true Conservative . That is how bad the o and his
policies are !!

So, the Urinal/Sentinel is trying to insist that the very contract the DNC signed with the convention site holders (see: http://content.news14.com/DNC%20Contracts/Final%20DNC%20Master%20Contract.pdf ) which specifically mentions photo ID IS indeed required for "visitors, staff, and volunteers" somehow isn't necessary for....who? Who is left out of "visitors, staff, and volunteers?"
Yet, the Urinal/Sentinel writes of a reporter who didn't need a photo ID to pick up their press credentials...hmmmm. What's really funny is that the DNC lists a requirement for a "state ID" to APPLY for credentials in the first place!
Here's a great read on the steps - requiring a photo ID THREE TIMES - that a reporter DID have to go through, which kind of disputes the spin the Urinal/Sentinel is throwing out there: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/dems-dont-seem-to-oppose-id-requirements-when-it-comes-to-their-convention/
and another site discusses the photo ID requirement at the DNC convention: http://blogs.philadelphiaweekly.com/phillynow/2012/09/05/new-voter-id-smear-hits-dnc-convention/
But here's the nail in the coffin. From the DNC's own website (http://www.demconvention.com/official-providers-distribution/), listing the requirements for applying for credentials to get into the DNC conventions. Notice the line: "All pickup persons must have a state-issued ID that matches the name submitted below."
Again, there is your dagger!!! The Urinal/Sentinel is about as credible as Politicrap...

agree on who they are and what they represent. Clinton ought to be real hoot
tonight. I can't wait for the head wiggle and the biting of the lower lip. They are on
the run.

This was also the same party that wanted to devote 2 hours to Muslim prayers and exclude Cardinal Timothy Dolan from appearing to say a prayer. At the end, they caved to pressure and did begrudgingly invite the Cardinal to appear.
The Democratic Party has become the Barack Obama Party - no donkey logos to be seen, but the weird Obama/Pepsi logo all over the place. Surprisingly, there are a few American flags - a slight nod to the country. Maybe Barry O. can come up with an "Obama" flag to replace Old Glory!
Face it, the DNC circus could be called "the me-me-me" crowd - give me what I want, Barry, so I don't have to lift a finger and you got my vote!!!
What was really strange was the Susan "political activist posing as college student" Fluke speech - couldn't stomach more than a few seconds of Rush-bashing, didn't sit around to wait for her to demand taxpayers pay for her birth control....
Then, with total irony, the womanizer/adulterer/accussed rapist/impeached ex-Prez Bill Clinton touts Prez Kardashian. Says we "cannot afford" to elect Mitt Romney (no, guess we just want Barry to continue to rack up debt to the tune of trillions of dollars...)
TOO FUNNY.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/sep/06/bill-clinton/bill-clinton-says-democratic-presidents-top-republ/
"Since 1961, for 52 years now, the Republicans have held the White House 28 years, the Democrats 24," Clinton said. "In those 52 years, our private economy has produced 66 million private-sector jobs. So what's the jobs score? Republicans 24 million, Democrats 42 (million)." In the packed convention hall, it was one of the night’s biggest applause lines.
True.

The Party that claims to be for having "all voices heard" can't hear!!!
Watch as the Dems disenfranchise HALF their delegates on live television:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BitudQ7QUEk
Not only do they require ID to enter the convention to vote - They don't even count your vote if you disagree with them!
Wow - sucks to be an atheist or arab-american Democrat knowing your own party doesn't listen to you.
