Exactly, that's why Romney's bush style tax cuts will do nothing for the economy. The economy when under during the Bush tax cuts.

Romney has Zero new ideas.
Not one Idea was set out at the RNC.
Not one.
The only Ideas he has is that he does not like what Obama is doing.

jman99: You must have missed Romney's acceptance speech at the RNC. He spoke of a "five point plan" for job creation, among other things:

"First, by 2020, North America will be energy independent by taking full advantage of our oil and coal and gas and nuclear and renewables.

Second, we will give our fellow citizens the skills they need for the jobs of today and the careers of tomorrow. When it comes to the school your child will attend, every parent should have a choice, and every child should have a chance.

Third, we will make trade work for America by forging new trade agreements. And when nations cheat in trade, there will be unmistakable consequences.

Fourth, to assure every entrepreneur and every job creator that their investments in America will not vanish as have those in Greece, we will cut the deficit and put America on track to a balanced budget.

And fifth, we will champion SMALL businesses, America's engine of job growth. That means reducing taxes on business, not raising them. It means simplifying and modernizing the regulations that hurt small business the most. And it means that we must rein in the skyrocketing cost of healthcare by repealing and replacing Obamacare."

Seems to me he has a few ideas, even if you don't want to admit it. Moreso than Barry "blame Bush" Obama...

Mucho: I think a much better term for the Democratic National Convention is "The Theatre of the Absurd."
Extremism was proudly on display - the venue full of people booing God. Dissing Israel. Ripping all who don't agree with their very warped views of reality. Susan ("professional protester/part time college student") Flukes giving a speech! People dressed up as women's vaginal areas parading about...Speakers trying to outdo one another in the lying department. The Womanizer-in-Chief Bill Clinton comes in to speak to the "fighting the war on women" crowd. (By the way, I think Clinton may have even outdone Michelle and Barack in the lying department...) The "gimmee!" crowd on display for all to see. Good Lord.

Those were basically the same ideas Obama brought forward four years ago and still holds to today.

Oh baloney, jman99. Obama wants to destroy this country as we know it and "rebuild" it as a socialist nation. Spread the wealth. Take from the makers and give to the takers. He appeals to the entitlement crowd. He appeals to the extreme lefties/socialists/communists.

Isn't it funny how many question whether or not Obama even likes the country he represents? Isn't that very telling in itself? Yet, no problem with Romney in that department. People know where he stands. And when Mitt Romney becomes the next president, the entire country will be better off.

what I find amusing is how the dems want Romney to put his entire plan out there
right now. Why? So they can nitpick it to death? No! Romney is timing this very

Actually I thought Michelle "let them eat cake" Obama's speech was read off the 'prompter really well. She did a good job - speaking. It's the content that was full of lies and distortions. Both of the Obama's are masters at covering up their agenda with fluff - rainbows and unicorns - to appeal to their radical base. What Obama-squared failed to do was appeal to any independents - in fact, judging from the hate-filled, bizarre antics at the DNC, I'd say they probably turned off more people to re-electing Jimmy Carter Jr.

I think that GWB and jman99 have both provided excellent examples of the M.O. of the Obama campaign. Since Barry has nothing to run on and a horrific (worse than ole' Jimmy Carter (and at least Carter's brother, Billy, didn't live in a hut with no assistance from ole' Jimmy) record as prez - all they can do is smear the opposition.

Romney's supposed business investments (by the way, jman99, many, many people have investment portfolios in which they have no clue WHAT companies their money is invested in.
