"Not optimal"
The "cool" president, Barack Hussein Obama, has now shown himself to be simply "cold."
While appearing on Comedy Central (rather demeaning to the office of the president to begin with), Obama had the following exchange with host Jon Stewart:
Many, besides Pat Smith, are weighing in - outraged - on Obama's casual and callous remark. Remember, this is a president who called a YouTube video (that was falsely blamed by Obama & Co. on causing Middle East violence) "offensive, reprehensible, and disgusting."
I'd say the death of four Americans in the Benghazi consulate is "offensive, reprehensible, and disgusting." Obama, when off 'prompter, really gives the American people an insight into how he really thinks. He is arrogant, cold, and flippant about a very serious situation. Obama uses terms like "folks" (he's done this to refer to terrorists), "screw up," and now "not optimal" (when referencing the deaths of four Americans!). The real Obama comes out when he cannot read from a script. Americans need to take note. Just think - here is a president appearing on a comedy show - while the Middle East is a tinderbox, the economy is in the tank, millions of Americans have given up looking for work, employment numbers are dismal, gas prices are high, more people are on food stamps, Israel is on shaky ground, and Iran is headed towards a nuclear bomb, and the government is spending money like never before - putting the nation on the road to fiscal ruin, Meanwhile, Obama is busy trading sarcastic barbs with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central?!? Presidential? Not in any sense of the word!
Obama himself may have just provided voters with the "October Surprise." This was not a gaffe. This was Obama being Obama. Just watch any of the clips of Obama on Comedy Central. Hopefully even more Americans will vote to show Obama a "November Surprise" by kicking him out of office - and rightly so.
America needs a real leader. A real president. A person who honestly cares for America, the Constitution, and the American people. And it ain't Barry Hussein Obama (aka President Kardashian). Never has been.
Vote to save America on November 6th, 2012 - vote for Mitt Romney.

You're right Obama should remain ensconced in the White House like all the other
presidents did when they were running for reelection!!

And I disagree that O'Reilly "got beat up" by Jon Stewart. What were you watching?
In addition, Obama doesn't know a thing about foreign policy. The glaring mistakes and lack of any attention to the Libya crisis and the Middle East violence clearly points this out. In addition, the Obama "apology tours" have done little more than make America appear weak. Obama doesn't know what he is doing, and he is keeping his "foreign policy expert" (try not to laugh) Joe "we be gaffes" Biden, locked in the White House basement, for fear he'll say something stupid. (It's been known to happen.) Obama has turned a cold shoulder to our allies (Israel) and pretends our enemies don't exist (North Korea, Iran, etc.). It is clear he has no clue.
And guess what, SickofRepubs: Mitt Romney's people were right to try to tell the press to be quiet in Poland when they were visiting Holy Ground. They were shouting out obnoxious questions to Romney in a cemetery. Ignoring a simple thing called "respect." Obviously, many "journalists" of today have no morals when it comes to those who oppose The One. They don't practice the news reporting anymore. They just practice twisting everything to try to help a sinking presidency and their Messiah. We've gotten used to the Barry Fan Club media. Their days are numbered, as is Obama's time in the White House.

offer a candidate that possesses those skills.

gather more facts from a comedy show then from what is advertised as actual
news.

The British and the Red Cross pulled out and the White House denied requests for more troops.
When a president "screws up", has his staff take the fall and makes light of the situation by cracking jokes on a nighttime comedy show, it's called FAILED Leadership. He referred to "having to go meet the coffins" of the people his negligence got killed like it was a burden to him. Let's get rid of burdens he can't handle by voting him out.

I guess you girls/guys must have had it sink in by now.

Romney will do well just by showing up. Obama is scrambling. He can do nothing to defend his total lack of foreign policy experience and policies (sad, but true for our nation). The Libya crisis will do him in, as Romney will probably point out.
Romney: 3, Obama 0.
Romney is looking good in the polls, even if the press doesn't really like it. I do believe that Romney has an even wider lead, but the polling data (favoring Dems, non-whites) is not reporting as such. Could Romney win in a landslide? I'd say it is very possible. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that real "change" gets elected on November 6th. Romney and Ryan!!! Thompson is also doing well against the anti-U.S. military, pro-Iranian Tammy Baldwin.

Who looked presidential? Romney. Obama looked like a petty, snarky campaigner, trying to unseat the leader. The glares Obama shot Romney's way were also very telling.
Romney showed solid knowledge of foreign policy, offered plans as to how he would lead, and very pointedly criticized the many failings of Obama. He never got flustered, like Obama. He never got angry, like Obama. He didn't need to take cheap, childish pot-shots at his opponent, like Obama.
Romney proved himself to be what it takes to be a real leader. Something the country has been lacking for almost four years now.
Romney clearly won. It was a very good night for conservatives/Republicans, and the "undecideds" among us.

"Romney showed solid knowledge of foreign policy"
"Romney showed simplistic knowledge of foreign policy"
There. I fixed that for you. You're welcome.
"He didn't need to take cheap, childish pot-shots at his opponent, like Obama."
Well then, Romney shouldnt have make stupid statements, then. The "bayonets and hourses" comment succinctly captures the fallacy of the 1916 navy statement.
Obama, at that point should've held out his microphone, and dropped it.
ahemmer - Oct 23, 2012 8:21 AM
As for "horses and bayonets?" Guess what MGarber: bayonets are indeed STILL used in the military of today AND the United States Navy does indeed need more ships!!!
See: http://communities.washingtontimes.com/neighborhood/conscience-conservative/2012/oct/22/obama-gets-it-wrong-bayonets-still-used-military/
Romney, at that point, should have held out his microphone and dropped it. Obama doesn't know what he is talking about. Those "aircraft carriers" that Obama mentioned - guess what Barry? Those ARE ships!
