Free Republic posters commenting on Malia Obama because she wore a peace sign t-shirt:
"They make me sick .... The whole family... mammy, pappy, the free loadin' mammy-in-law, the misguided chillin', and especially 'lil cuz... This is not the America I want representin' my peeps."
"A typical street whore."
"A bunch of ghetto thugs."
"Ghetto street trash."
"Wonder when she will get her first abortion."
"To entertain her daughter, Michelle Obama loves to make monkey sounds."
"Could you imagine what world leaders must be thinking seeing this kind of street trash and that we paid for this kind of street ghetto trash to go over there?
"This disgusting display makes me more and more eager for the revolution," while another read, "I never actually wnated [sic] to be a pistol before but..."
"The writer has a point," wrote site owner Jim Thompson sarcastically. "We should steer clear of Obama's children. They can't help it if their old man is an American-hating Marxist pig."
"I agree Jim," wrote commenter, by the nickname NoobRep. "The kids didn't pick their commie pinko pansy of a father. Nor did they choose to be put into the spotlight. But Obama/Soetoro is fair game and so is his witch of a wife."
"Poor kids. I hope they're not 'punished with a baby'," wrote another. "Hopefully they won't deal cocaine like the Kenyan."
"DIRTBAGS! All of them. Our [White House] is now a joke to the rest of the world. We have no respect and this is not going to turn out well, mark my words. We will be hit, and much worse than last time. We are now seen as weak and vulnerable. Ghetto and Chicago thugs have taken over."

Not even enough guts to do it on my blog.
Their tactic silence is approval in my point of view.

Many idiots are free to comment on threads. And many do. There are so many blogs out there and so many people who make comments that are not subject to review or being monitored. Or their comments are eventually discovered and deleted.
Yet, in keeping with the feigned outrage over this by libs everywhere, where was the outrage from Dems when David Letterman joked about Sarah Palin's daughter being raped?
And there are many more vile, hate-filled comments on liberal blog sites devoted to Sarah Palin than this short thread on the Obama's.
And the Conservative Republic has apologized for the disgusting comments posted on the thread. Unknown bloggers can say what they want. And don't forget all the disgusting comments floating around on liberal web sites regarding Trig Palin....oh, but guess that's OK, cuz Palin's mom is Sarah! She's a Republican! Actually, don't forget all the vile, disgusting comments floating around out there regarding most Republicans/Conservatives...and don't for get those dreaded Christians!

I didn't realize those guys were joking. Did you speak to them in person and that's what they told you?

I would have had more respect.
Typical.

The book 1984 (Orwell) was a cautionary tale, not a frakkin guidebook.

Perhaps as the republican party abandon its principles, so did the people that became disillusioned with the party. And this is all that is left of the conservative base.

1) Never did I call fellow commentators "idiots." I called the people who wrote, and write, spiteful, racist, mean things against children of politicians - like Sarah Palin's children, and in this brief instance in a blog thread, one of Obama's daughters.
2) I do not approve of the quotes and find them outrageous and despicable.
3) The point of my previous comment was to point out that idiots made nasty comments in regards to one of the Obama children on a blog site. They were anonymous commentators and the site they commented on: www.freerepublic.com has pulled the offensive comments and apologized. I also made the point that many more liberal blog sites say much worse things about the Palins - the entire family - and we don't hear too much about that. And the Palins daughter has also been attacked on national television. Compared to the readership level of one tiny blog in the entire blogosphere vs. national television, and the ability of people to make horrible remarks while hiding behind fake names, there is no comparison.
In any case, it is not right to attack the children of politicians, whomever they may be.
I won't hold my breath waiting for an apology from Mr. Pickard for all the comments he made directed at me that are not true.

Look at our blogs. Look at our comments. At times it is very difficult to remain civil concerning the constant and unrelenting hatred and vile comments directed at us on a daily basis. We never use swear language. We don't drop "f-bombs." We don't use side e-mails like MC Pickard has to call me words that are totally unfit to print, and would result in this comment being taken down.
It's simple. Stick within the rules of blogging and you will be OK. That is what Jim Hayett and I, as well as Al Neuhauser, are able to do. Apparently, your brother could not. And you seem to be intent on following in his footsteps. Stop whining about what you perceive to be "unfair" treatment, because you are creating something out of nothing.

2) Good, you should have said that in the first place as to not give the rest of us the wrong idea that you were just trying to spin it off on liberal media.
3) Good rip on me when i was Liberal Hammer.
