News, Information and Ideas on how to deal with hearing loss in a hearing world. Plus a few other topics!
Topic for October 8, 2009 Hearing loss Meeting in Wales, WI
For our October meeting, we will have Steve Pederson from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department as our speaker.
Topic - What do you need to be aware of when it comes to interacting with a police department if you are D/HOH.
We've all heard the negative stories of these situations. Steve is going to be interacting with us and giving us some ideas on how best to notify a policing authority of our 'invisible' challenge. We are also going to be able to give him some tips on how best to interact with us.
So, bring your questions and concerns so that we can get everyone on a level playing field as well as learn a few new ways to do things!
