Read my lips...
Remember when George H.W. Bush first uttered these words in 1988:
"Read my lips, no new taxes" was a promise Bush made during the Republican National Convention when he was selected as the Republican Presidential candidate in 1988. Bush went on to defeat Democrat Michael Dukakis and served for four years. When he came up for re-election in 1992, Bush lost. This was due to the fact that Bush had told a lie - a big whopper - saying he would not raise taxes. The American people remembered. And the American voters held Bush accountable when he ran again for re-election. People don't like being lied to. They voted Bill Clinton into office instead.
Now along comes Barack Obama:
Think the American people will forget 7 lies - and counting! Just recently Obama announced he may forget about his promise to the labor unions to not tax their cadillac health plans should health care reform become a reality. Labor unions aren't taking that news too well.
Here's several other whoppers on "transparency" alone. Showing Obama promising over and over how health care bill negotiations will be shown on C-Span. So the public can see and hear what is going on! Is that happening? NO. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and their partners in crime are working behind closed doors to conjure up the health care bill monstrosity that the majority of Americans DO NOT WANT. Maybe in the mixed-up world of Obama, "transparency" is a code word for "opaqueness."
How anyone can continue to defend this truth-challenged president is beyond me. (A rare moment of honesty in Washington D.C. was when Congressman Joe Wilson called Obama a "liar" during Obama's infomercial on health care...) Yet, there are still many Obamazombies out there who apparently will follow their Dear Leader over a cliff if he asks them to. Most of us know better. If the American people chose to not re-elect President George H.W. Bush because he told ONE lie, it will be simply amazing if Obama can get re-elected in 2012 over lies too numerous to even keep track of...

Did you all happen to see this article today: (buried pg.4)
CAMERON REAGAN ARRESTED
The grandson of former U.S. president RONALD REAGAN has been charged with resisting arrest after police were called to his family's California home on Thursday (07Jan10).
Cops arrived at Cameron Reagan's parents' home in Van Nuys shortly after midnight on Thursday after the panic button on the property's burglar alarm was activated.
According to RadarOnline.com, the 31 year old was found in a drunken state and began shouting obscenities at the officers.
Cameron, the son of radio and TV personality Michael Reagan, was taken to jail and has been officially charged with resisting arrest.
At press time, he was still believed to be behind bars.
It is not the first time Cameron has been in trouble with the law - TMZ.com claims he served six months in prison in 1999 after he was convicted of receiving stolen goods relating to two car burglaries.
Another arrest in 2001 landed him in rehab and anger management class after police found a bag of marijuana on his person following a car break in
Hmmmm! This story sounds familiar somehow??? Police respond to a man breaking into a house. . . the guy gets upset and yells obscene things at police. . . he is arrested.
Boy, I guess since it's his family's home "those police acted stupidly."
Can we please get beer-with-obama: version 2.0.
Note: He's STILL in jail!!! Facing fines!!! Someone else was released to presidential fanfare!! Huh?
Hilarious!!!

Why was Cameron Reagan arrested? Cameron Reagan, former President Reagan’s grandson, was detained in Van Nuys jail. Reagan refused to talk to the press about the cause of his detention in jail. Reagan just said nothing happened.
Cameron Reagan was released from jail on the same day he was arrested and detained, ie, on Thursday, Jan 7.
Someone in the Reagan household pushed a panic button that called the police to the premises. When cops arrived, Cameron yelled profanities at them. Reagan resisted arrest.
Later, the Reagan family said the incident was a misunderstanding

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it." - B.O.
What a warning! Too bad many voters failed to take heed before November 4th, 2008.

"President Obama does not respect the office of the presidency, nor does he have the proper attitude towards its traditions"
Not opinions but proof?

http://www.usnews.com/blogs/mary-kate-cary/2009/03/17/obamas-jay-leno-tonight-show-gig-will-diminish-his-presidency.html
A few key points from the article: "Doing Jay Leno lessens the stature of the office, and diminishes the man. On Leno, he (Obama) becomes just one more talk show guest, a celebrity on the circuit promoting his latest movie or book. It's a decision that speaks volumes about Obama's approach to the office. For that matter, so does his signing of op-eds about specific legislation in newspapers; his picking fights with radio talk show hosts; and his casual dress code in the Oval Office. There's still a coat-and-tie rule at the Supreme Court and on the floor of the House and Senate, out of respect for those offices. There should be at the White House, too."
