More lies and corruption from Obama and the democrats.
The lies and corruption with Obamacre is absolutely alarming. Once again, zero reporting from the MSM. And how many liberals still believe that our MSM isn’t bias? Not too many judging by the complete collapse in votes, trust, and confidence in Obama and the democrats. And if you are still hiding in a cave or behind CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, Milwaukee JS, and or the NY Times, just to name a few, this will send you in the right direction. That’s only if you’re an honest American who isn’t drunk on the Kool-Aid! Oh by the way, I just read the latest poll. One year ago this month Obama had a disapproval rating of only 16%. Today, his disapproval is at 44%.
The below article comes to me from the “Morning Bell.” However, before you read the article, here's some breaking news that shows more of the corrupt Chicago style politics Obama, Reid, and Pelosi use. One of their top economists brought in only to crunch the Obamacare numbers was caught with a conflict of interest. And a big one! Jonathan Gruber, an MIT economist, has been among the foremost promoters of Obamacare thanks to the $400,000 in consulting contracts with the Administration that weren't disclosed in the many stories in which he was cited as an independent authority. Why is this braking news? His work figured heavily into a recent piece by Ron Brownstein that the Administration promoted as an antidote to skepticism about Obama care’s cost control. Obama and White House budget director Peter Orszag has also relied on Mr. Gruber and other economists endorsing the Senate bill. And as Orszag reported Gruber’s findings, as did the MSM and some of our liberals’ right here, Orszag never reported that Gruber was paid and paid very well to support Obamacare. Conflict? Yes, Transparency? No! There’s more so read on.
Behind Closed Doors, Unions Win, You Lose 1/14/09
Yesterday, President Barack Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and nine other lawmakers met face-to-face for seven hours to resolve differences between the House and Senate health care bills. At the same time these talks were going on, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, Service Employees International Union President Andy Stern and United Auto Workers President Ron Gettelfinger met with other Obama administration officials in a separate room in the White House. This all comes after these same labor leaders met personally with Speaker Pelosi yesterday, and after they met face-to-face with President Obama in the White House on Monday. Despite then-candidate Barack Obama's explicit promises to the American people, absolutely none of these meetings were open to the public or televised on C-SPAN. In fact, Politico reports: "Those involved in the talks sought to keep details of their progress under wraps."
And just what deals were Big Labor, the leftist majorities in Congress and the Obama administration making behind closed doors? How to pay for President Obama's likely $1 trillion health care plan without raising taxes on one of the President's most loyal constituencies: labor unions. Specifically, Big Labor reportedly has struck a deal with health care negotiators to exempt union members from the 40% excise tax on high-priced health insurance premiums. By some estimates, the tax would hit one in four union members. Now Big Labor will get all of the big government health care spending they always wanted, but they will not have to pay for it.
And Obamacare's Big Labor handouts don't end there. The legislation also sets aside $5 billion to subsidize the costs of employer health benefits for early retirees. As Heritage fellow James Sherk notes, few nonunion employers, of course, pay pension and health benefits for workers to retire at 55. And then there's the small business exemption from the employer mandate for businesses with less than 50 employees. At first this applied to all small businesses, but after aggressive lobbying by Big Labor, non-unionized construction businesses were unexempted. Big Labor lobbyists explicitly admitted they wanted to use Obamacare's job-killing employer mandates as a competitive advantage to drive non-unionized firms out of business.
So where does the White House and Congress propose to regain the revenue lost from exempting unions from the health care excise tax? The people who fund job creation: investors. The Obama administration wants to apply the Medicare payroll tax not just to wages but to capital gains, and for the first time ever, to dividends and other forms of investment income. This tax will hit seniors the hardest since many of them live off their dividend and interest income, in addition to their pension and Social Security checks. But it also hurts us all since high taxes on capital gains, dividends, interest and business income increase the cost of capital, thus depressing investment at the very time the economy needs new investment to grow and create jobs.
Big Labor's high wages and inflexible work rules have already bankrupted our nation's once proud automobile industry. Across the country, their early retirement and exorbitant pensions are bankrupting states. The health insurance excise tax was once the signature health care spending cost cutter of Obama's entire health care plan. Now it has been gutted at the altar of Big Labor power. The big loser in all of these cases is you, the American taxpayer.

I would ask these politicians, when did they re-write the U.S. Constitution from "WE THE PEOPLE" to WE THE POLITICIANS"?
If they really cared, they would listen to what the majority of the people are asking for. The public is and has been more concerned about the financial problems that we currently face than the health care systems that we currently have.
If they want to correct the financial problems this country currently has they should start by getting people back to work without government subsidized job employment.
As a final thought, I would ask that you read the articles listed below, which will help explain, why the current plan fails to increase employment and shows how the health care bill will create more unemployment. Dr. Mark W. Hendrickson wrote the first and the second is the monthly newsletter from Congressman Sensenbrenner. You can read these articles at:

LANGLEY, Virginia — A group led by anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has protested near the CIA's headquarters ***and former Vice President Dick Cheney's home*** in northern Virginia.
They were protesting the use of unmanned drone aircraft to attack al-Qaida and Taliban targets.
The group of about 70 people rallied alongside a highway near the CIA compound Saturday. About half then marched to Cheney's nearby street and stayed for 20 minutes. Police kept them from going down his street.
Sheehan's 21-year-old son Casey was killed in Iraq in April 2004. She staged a prolonged demonstration outside former President George W. Bush's ranch near Crawford, Texas, in 2005.
She says using drones is "cowardly" and "immoral."
Ohh, yeah! That's right. . .
It's always Bush's fault (or Cheney's.)
Cindy Sheehan is as embarrasing and stupid as the libs. on this site. She should be deported!!!!

And you again miss the point--why doesn't her president (the commander in chief and head of armed forces) receive her protests. obama lied to you guys about getting out of the wars--he has increased the efforts and the costs--but not a whisper from your side--just more "Bush's fault." Laughable.
By the way, I support the increase in effort and cost--it's the only thing that keeps terrorists at bay. He hasn't gone far enough (recent attacks prove his weak "talk" does nothing) but it's the ONLY thing he's done that I can support!

Two standards exist for the press: the liberal standard says it's OK for someone like Harry Reid to make racist comments, he can keep his job. But Trent Lott, who made a racial joke at a birthday party has to go.....The liberal standard says that Bush was entirely to blame for Hurricane Katrina - never mind that the local and state government of Lousiana was totally corrupt and did little to help it's own citizens, while the Feds really did what they were supposed to do - and have done in other disasters in other states. Never mind that the populace of New Orleans had a majority of poor people who had been dependent upon the government for their every need and had no clue what to do or how to help themselves.
No, what is going on in Haiti is OK, since Obama is president. The media is actually making excuses! for the slow response and lack of aide to Haiti. Why, even today on the radio I heard two announcers discussing that even the looting is to be understood - the people are trying everything to feed their families! It's OK - and the announcers said they would do the same thing in that situation. Well, remember how the looting in New Orleans was blamed on Bush and his response to Katrina? Where was the National Guard to prevent such a thing!!! How the Superdome was being trashed? Bush's fault. Due to his "lack of response." Liberal spin. Bush bad. Obama good.

And for your second comment, if Mr. Feingold is such a leader to cut wasteful spending and the growing deficit, why did he vote in favor of the Health Care bill - a bill he even admitted is severly flawed? A bill that will lead to higher taxes, less quality services, and more government power? Right now, our dollars spent in the free market have provided us with the best doctors, services, medicines, and research in the world. Should the government get involved and take over this industry, we Americans would lose all of that. If he is such a maverick, and truly has the interests of the good people of Wisconsin that he was voted to represent, Russ Feingold would be working on getting government out of the auto industry, the banking industry, the mortgage industry AND keep it out of the health care industry. No, Russ is just carrying water for the Obama Administration.
jmark: Is it really that difficult for you to make comments without resorting to name-calling and pointless remarks? Sad.

Not mention is the Unity Bank and Trust Company in 1971, The Common wealth banks of Detroit in 1972, The First Pennsylvania Bank in 1980.
None of the bailouts did anything to change how it happened in the first place. Just like this last bailout.
May I suggest reading The Creature from Jekyll Island, by G. Edward Griffin and you will find out the source of our march toward a statist government.

I won't try to argue any of your assumptions since we know how open your mind is.

The facts are so powerful in my blog that not one liberal has yet to debate these facts. Why is that and how can you still defend these liars who call themselves American politicians? Come on libs. There is nothing here that is not 100% factual. I would be horrified if the candidates I voted lied so much as the only way to get my vote. We all should stand together and denounce and remove these idiots in Washington who lied all for a vote and destroy our Constitution. It’s already stared in various states.
