Impeach Obama!

This billboard, located off of U.S. 41 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin has caused quite a stir.
What this billboard represents to many is that we, the American people, don't support a socialist president. We don't support a man intent on shredding our Constitution and re-writing it as he sees fit. We don't support bigger government, higher taxes, and a weak national defense.
In regards to businesses - the point of this particular advertisement - Obama is doing his best to destroy our economy. The Stimulus Bills are a disaster. Other Obama policies will only serve to ruin more American businesses. And unemployment keeps rising in the private sector, while government jobs are doing just fine - and on the increase. (Shouldn't it be the other way around?) And spending hasn't decreased in the least - in fact, it has accelerated at an unprecedented rate. Trillions upon trillions of dollars! Spend spend spend!!! Obama is out of control.
(How fitting that a prison is in the background of this billboard!)
Other billboards voicing opposition to the Dear Leader are also sprouting up. In Minnesota, there is a billboard of President Bush with the text "Miss Me Yet?" There was an anti-Obama billboard in Colorado portraying Obama in a Muslim turban and questioning "President or Jihad?" Additional text included: "Wake Up America - Remember Fort Hood!"
Many Americans are on to Obama. We realize he doesn't like the country he was elected to represent. He wants to destroy it. Re-invent it as he sees fit. We won't let him. Enough of us are already saying "no!" Many of the Democrats who have been supportive of what Obama is doing in Washington D.C. are scared about losing their jobs - with good reason. Some may say that Obama has not committed any "impeachable" offenses. Not true. According to our Constitution:
Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution reads: “The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”
From http://www.impeachobamacampaign.com/ comes the following:
“’High crimes and misdemeanors’ entered the text of the Constitution due to George Mason and James Madison. Mason had argued that the reasons given for impeachment - treason and bribery - were not enough. He worried that other "great and dangerous offenses" might not be covered... so Mason then proposed ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,’ a phrase well-known in English common law. In 18th century language, a ‘misdemeanor’ meant ‘mis-demeanor,’ or bad behavior."
Tammy Bruce, a well-known conservative radio host, as well as author, and political commentator, has stated: "ultimately, it comes down to....the fact that he (Obama) seems to have, it seems to me, some malevolence toward the country which is unabated..."
True. Never before has America had a president so intent on apologizing to other countries for what he himself perceives to be America's faults. In addition, Obama has done a number of things that have people wary of what his real motives are. Just a few examples include the numerous "czar" positions created by Obama, in which his "czars" are accountable to no one but Obama. Some are inclined to believe that Obama has created his own "shadow government." Putting the White House in charge of the U.S. Census has been considered un-constitutional by many. Allowing the government to buy private companies with taxpayer dollars, then firing CEO's! The total blasé attitude towards terrorism. The friendly attitude towards terrorists - granting them the rights accorded to United States citizens and skipping military tribunals in favor of civilian courts for major figures in terrorist acts. The attempted power-grab of the United States health care system - still ongoing. The attempts to force Americans to even have health care insurance - whether they want it or not - and a desire to enforce a fine and/or prison term if they don't have any! The list goes on....
These billboards are just the tip of an iceberg. When people, during these horrible economic times, feel it is important enough to pay upwards of $1,000.00 a month to advertise their displeasure at a president and what he represents, it means something.
Free speech.* What a wonderful thing. Hopefully Obama and his socialist cronies won't have enough time to take away that right away from us before the 2010 and 2012 elections....
(*And you can bet that the same folks who are so outraged over this billboard couldn't care less if this was an advertisement bashing Sarah Palin or George W. Bush! No doubt that they would be touting "free speech" rights in favor of such billboards. And remember all those "Impeach Bush" bumper stickers we became accustomed to seeing cars in traffic? A lot of autos with those bumper stickers on them probably have been demolished during the "Cash for Clunkers" government program.....)

After finishing this blog, a friend of mine - Nancy - e-mailed me the following pic. It's from Lake City, Florida. A group of citizens got together and paid $6,500.00 to pay for this advertisement. It will be up for 10 months and is located off of I-75. Looks like lots of folks are quite angry about what is going on in our country - and rightly so!:

Well, actually there's not a shred of evidence here to prove anything. Anything aside from the fact that dimwitted sheeple will piss there money away on billboard advertising that will have no appreciable effect on anyone who hasn't already subscribed to the ideology of the lunatic fringe. You'd get a much better bang for your buck with bumper stickers.
You knuckleheads continue to believe your radical beliefs are representative of the vast majority, yet the polls indicate otherwise. In fact Obama's approval ratings are on a similar trajectory as that of God (Reagan) himself.
Thanks for keeping us entertained Amy.

It is a safe bet that you spoke out against impeaching George W. It “seems to me” that there were more grounds for impeaching GW than there is for impeaching Obama.
“Never before has America had a president so intent on apologizing to other countries for what he himself perceives to be America's faults.” GW stepped on plenty of toes and squandered the goodwill we had with alot of countries after 9/11
In addition, Obama has done a number of things that have people wary of what his real motives are.” So did GW, again hardly an impeachable ofence.
“Just a few examples include the numerous "czar" positions created by Obama, in which his "czars" are accountable to no one but Obama.” Obama is not the first to appoint “czars” though he did expand upon the idea more than the previous presidents.
Some are inclined to believe that Obama has created his own "shadow government." Some people have vivid and distorted imaginations, and see conspiracies where ever the look. Could you be one?
“Putting the White House in charge of the U.S. Census has been considered un-constitutional by many.”
Considered by many to be unconstitutional? Undoubtedly, the many you speak of are conservatives, what a suprise.

If you understood the Federal Reserve System, you would see that this is the way it was designed to work. Not the first time that the taxpayers money has been spent to bail out industries. Unless we abolish the Federal Reserve, it is going to happen again, guaranteed.
” The friendly attitude towards terrorists - granting them the rights accorded to United States citizens and skipping military tribunals in favor of civilian courts for major figures in terrorist acts.”
Maybe we should hold tribunals for the poor since there is a war on poverty.
The attempted power-grab of the United States health care system - still ongoing.
It amazes me how much conservatives wail about being shut out by the democrats, when they were doing the same thing to Liberals when the
Republicans were in power.
“The attempts to force Americans to even have health care insurance - whether they want it or not - and a desire to enforce a fine and/or prison term if they don't have any!”
Hardly an impeachable offence.
“The list goes on....”
Please continue; at least until you actually come up with an impeachable offence. If what you mentioned is grounds for removal from office there would be few left in Washington.
“These billboards are just the tip of an iceberg. When people, during these horrible economic times, feel it is important enough to pay upwards of $1,000.00 a month to advertise their displeasure at a president and what he represents, it means something.”
Yes, it does mean something, it means that they have some disposable income.

And under GW what system was used to convict terrorists?
"numerous "czar" positions created by Obama, in which his "czars" are accountable to no one but Obama."
Ever hear of a chain of command?
"Putting the White House in charge of the U.S. Census has been considered un-constitutional by many. "
Who are the "many"?
"Allowing the government to buy private companies with taxpayer dollars, then firing CEO's! "
These weren't forced buyouts these failed companies came begging to the government. These inept CEOs deserved to be fired something the disfunctional corporations they ran should have done long before they came begging for money....ever hear the saying "beggars can't be choosers"?

Sounds like that would make this country into exactly what it tried to save itself from. But I suppose if we can't elect competent leaders then maybe democracy has failed.
All service members upon entering basic training are made to take an oath to protect the constitution and obey the orders of the commander in chief, a coup would be a direct disobedience of that oath.

Like these two as examples..
"Remember, it was the healthy and rational fear of government that led to the inclusion of the 2nd Amendment in the Constitution of the United States."
"Surely Barack Hussein Obama knows that our personal liberties flow directly from our Christian heritage... that there is no surer way to destroy our republic than to deny that heritage."

So we needed a armed militia to protect citizens from our own government???
The founding fathers did their best to keep religion out of government to allow citizens to follow their own religious ideals.
Floyd Brown needs some professional help (in my opinion) since he obviously suffers from paranoid delusions.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Jefferson
The religious views of Thomas Jefferson diverged widely from the orthodox Christianity of his day. Throughout his life Jefferson was intensely interested in theology, biblical study, and morality.[93] He is most closely connected with the Episcopal Church, the religious philosophy of Deism, and Unitarianism. He is reported to have said, "Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear."

It is the exact same thing for the conservative, which all they want is to regain power. The conservatives had 12 years to do something about health care reform, but they are satisfied with the status quo. They don’t want to change a thing, except for cutting revenue. Excuse me, I meant to say taxes.
So they lose to the democrats, because they had the opportunity and didn’t do a darn thing to change the status quo. Oh yea, they did pass a prescription drug benefit with a "Gap" in coverage-$750 in out-of-pocket costs up to $2,250 benefit limit, must spend an additional $2,850 on drugs before reaching out-of-pocket limit.
Like most conservative bills the people that need it the most are the ones who get shortchanged.

I was wondering when you (or Jim) was going to try to sell this conservative psychobabble.

Holier than thou ?
"knowingly and continualy lie."
Both parties do the exact same thing and it is hypocritical to only call out one side for this.

“The Census is supposed to be not only outside of politics, but transparent,” said Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., the ranking Republican on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. “This implies that President Obama intends on getting a count to his liking. It borders on overt political corruption.”
Many Congressmen have expressed concern at the way the U.S. Census could be handled - and manipulated. Right now, they are deciding what legal action they can take. And many private citizens (including yours truly) - that know what the stakes are in regards to the U.S. Census - are troubled by this power-grab by the Obama Administration.

Delusions of grandeur.
I do not believe for a minute that republicans or conservatives are in any way superior to anyone else.
And the idea that a conservative is for small government is just as much of a crock.
http://www.lp.org/news/press-releases/libertarians-criticize-cpac-conservatives
“It's interesting that conservatives only notice "big government" when it's something their political enemies want. When conservatives want it, apparently it doesn't count.
• If a conservative wants a trillion-dollar foreign war, that doesn't count.
• If a conservative wants a 700-billion-dollar bank bailout, that doesn't count.
• If a conservative wants to spend billions fighting a needless and destructive War on Drugs, that doesn't count.
• If a conservative wants to spend billions building border fences, that doesn't count.
• If a conservative wants to "protect" the huge, unjust, and terribly inefficient Social Security and Medicare programs, that doesn't count.
• If a conservative wants billions in farm subsidies, that doesn't count.
It's truly amazing how many things "don't count."”

The quote “either you are with us or against us” is Hilary Clintons, She said it on September 13, 2001. Actually her quote is; "Every nation has to either be with us, or against us. Those who harbor terrorists, or who finance them, are going to pay a price."
George W Bush used it 7 days later in a joint session of congress on September 20,2001 saying; "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.”
