I can tell you that the Port of Canaveral in Cape Canaveral, FL is bustling with activity. We actually have a condo down there and enjoy every chance that we get to go there and watch the ships come and go out of the port. There are plenty of accommodations in the area should you decide to spend a few days before or after the cruise. We are also 50 miles from Orlando if you want to check out the many 'adventure' parks.
