Splash Pad Ground Breaking Has Happened!
We are still in the last push to raise money for the final completion, but we are getting the initial water piping started this fall. Lets get this exciting project constructed for the start of the 2013 summer season! If you want to donate to make it happen visit www.lakecountryrotarysplashpad.com. We are very close to the amount necessary to get it completed but not quite there yet!
The 8th annual Wine and Food Festival this past Sunday was a beautiful event and we are hoping that the money we raised will push us further in of our fundraising drive for the Splash Pad!
Thank you to all who attended and worked so hard at the 2012 Lake Country Rotary Wine and Food Festival! The committee and the Rotary members did an outstanding job!

GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR SPLASH PAD Friday October 12th at 11:00 a.m.!
The Lake Country Rotary Group invites all to the groundbreaking ceremony of the Splash Pad in Nixon Park in Hartland at 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 12th! Winner of our Harley 2012 FXDC! Thank you all who participated in our Beer Celebration and the Raffle!
Congratulations to Lori Truttschel, the winner of the 2012 Harley Davidson FXDC motorcycle at the Audacious Beer & Cheese Celebration in Nixon Park June 30th. Second place, a $1000 gift certificate to Wisconsin Harley Davidson, was won by Mike Sipek. Third place went to Jeanne Henry, who won a signed Willie G. flag.

Our Splash Gala was a wonderful night for all in attendance.
We want to thank the many people who were there and those who helped to put on the beautiful event! We are very grateful for the generous contributions to make Waukesha County’s first Splash Pad a reality!

The Lake Country Rotary and Lake Country Foundation are
planning the construction of a Splash Pad in Nixon Park. The
goal is to raise $300,000 in cash and in-kind donations to
complete the construction of the splash pad. The Lake
Country Foundation and the Lake Country Rotary have already committed
$150,000 for the project. So we are half way there!
