Authorities release name of man found in Lake Beulah
Members of the Mukwonago and Big Bend-Vernon Fire Department dive teams assisted the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department in the search for a 33-year-old man who went missing last Wednesday morning after attempting to dock a boat on the north side of the lake. According to a release from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department and the Town of East Troy Police, Michael Paul Brillowski of Mukwonago was found just after 2:45 p.m. Wednesday approximately 50 feet from shore, in 10 feet of water. According to Mukwonago Fire Chief Jeff Rolfe, Chris Hahn with the Mukwonago Fire Department found the body which was then recovered by Deputies from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team. According to the release, police were contacted about 8 a.m. for a missing person and began the search in the W1600 block of Highway J in the Town of East Troy. Brillowski was last seen in the early morning hours Wednesday, attempting to dock a boat. The investigation is ongoing as autopsy results are still pending.
