West Bend wins LOL crown
West Bend, champions this past summer of the Land O' Lakes Western Division baseball league, won the prestigious LOL Grand Championship Sunday afteroon by smashing visiting Kenosha, 14-0. It's the second LOL title for West Bend since 2005.
Mike Mueller hit two home runs to lead the winners and Billy Bynum also homered. Jed Justman chipped in with three hits.
Andy Hetebrueg pitched the first seven innings, allowing two hits and fanning nine batters. Bryant Bullock worked the final two innings.
The Western Division has won three of the last four Grand Championships.
