Big Bend announces Fire Chief
The Village of Big Bend just announced its new Fire Chief- John Ludwig of the Tess Corners Fire Department will become chief of the new Village of Big Bend Fire Department. His official first day on the job will be Dec. 18.
Ludwig served on the Muskego Fire Department for 27 years and has served on the new Tess Corners Fire Department for a year. An assistant chief for 14 years and a chief for six, Ludwig currently serves as a captain in Tess Corners.
"This is another piece of the puzzle we have now put in place for the Village," said Village President James Soneberg. "This (the hiring of Ludwig) is going to bring us what we are looking for and what we have been trying to create since the breakup."
