Km holds off Waukesha South
Waukesha South running back Drew Papez attempted to dive into the end zone for a two-point conversion on Friday at Greg Vock Field in Wales but was ruled short of the goal line, allowing the home team to prevail 31-30.
With 1:42 to play Josh Orne recovered an onside kick by the Blackshirts, who were 0-for-5 on two-point conversion attempts in the contest.
In the second quarter Kettle Moraine quarterback Nick Cieslak threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to DQ Smith.
Kettle Moraine never trailed, getting a touchdown after a turnover on Waukesha South's first play from scrimmage. Will Orne scored on a one-yard run but sat most of the game due to a foot injury.
