AHS rolls past South
Arrowhead's varsity football team, ranked No. 7 in the state, rolled over visiting Waukesha South Friday night in a Classic 8 Cofnerence game, 38-20. AHS led 31-0 at halftime.
The win moved the Warhawks to 7-1 on the season and 5-1 in league play. Arrowhead will play at Carroll University against Catholic Memorial, also 5-1 in league play, next Wednesday night. Waukesha West is also 5-1.
Drew Meyer opened the scoring for Arrowhead by kicking a 38-yard field goal and the Warhawks added touchdowns of 7 yards by Ryan Saeger, 16 yards by Colton Sweitzer, a 22-yard reception by Charlie Fischer from Saeger and a Saeger to Charles Rushman to Sweitzer for a 25 yard scoring pass and lateral.
Cody Britt led the AHS defense with two interceptions.
