Meet and greet writers in a mysterious state
Everyone loves a good mystery story. And what could be more fun than solving crimes with Wisconsin settings.
This Sunday, meet two local authors whose literary playground is our own state. From 2 to 4 p.m. Wisconsin mystery writers Deb Baker and Kathleen Ernst will be guests at the Mukwonago Community Library’s Tea & Mystery. Baker (aka Hannah Reed) and Ernst will read from and discuss their latest mysteries, “Buzz Off” and “Old World Murder,” respectively. Books will be available for sale and signing.
“Buzz Off” takes readers to the fictional town of Moraine, Wis., where Beekeeper Story Fischer is mired in murder. “Old World Murder” features Chloe Ellefson as the collections curator at Old World Wisconsin.
The event also includes a reception of tea and desserts as well as a chance to win a mystery lover’s basket of goodies. Tickets are $10 with proceeds benefiting the Mukwonago Community Library Expansion.
The library is location at 300 Washington Ave. in Mukwonago.
