Kettle Moraine soccer falls short of state
Waukesha West got goals from Nick Moon, Dylan Trapp and John Roder on Saturday, sending the host Kettle Moraine Lasers to a 3-1 loss in the WIAA Division 1 soccer sectional final.
Waukesha West got two assists from Casey Jehn and defeated KM for the second time this year. West also scored a 1-0 victory over the Lasers in the Classic 8 Conference regular-season finale, pulling into a tie with KM for the league title.
Jared Kobriger scored on a free kick in the 73rd minute for the Lasers.
