Arrowhead football bows to West
In a direct reversal of the 2009 football season, Waukesha West gutted out a 14-10 victory over Arrowhead in the Level 2 playoffs Saturday night at AHS.
After West (10-1) defeated the Warhawks in last year's regular season but fell to AHS in Level 2, the opposite happened in 2010.
Quarterback Brandon Berghoefer plunged in on fourth down on the 1-yard line and gave his team the lead with 7:32 to play. The Warhawks (9-2) rallied down to the West 16-yard line but stalled with 1 minute to play.
Ryan Saeger ran for the Warhawks score and finished with 136 yards rushing.
