Pewaukee defeat KM boys in cage opener
Pewaukee's varsity boys basketball team, thanks to a 15-0 run in the first quarter and a 19-0 run in the second and third periods, defeated host Kettle Moraine in the season opener for both teams Saturday afternoon, 66-40.
Jordan Daul scored the first 14 points of the fourth period for the Pirates and finished the game witrh 24 tallies. Dave Reese added 9 points to that total and Jordan Edgerson and Austin Hansen chipped in with 7 tallies each.
KM was led by Trey Dowling with 18 points. Kyle Kita added 11 for the Lasers.
