AHS boys hammer North
Arrowhead's varsity boys basketball team turned in a strong defensive effort last Friday night and whipped visiting Waukesha North in a Classic 8 Conference game, 70-50. The Warhawks improved to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in league play.
The Warhawks led 19-10 after the first period and 38-16 at halftime. Their largest lead was 35 points in the fourth period.
Sophomore guard Kenny Finco fired in 20 points to lead the Warhawks. Jonny Fischer added 10 points for the winners and Charles Rushman had 9.
AHS will play at Brookfield Central Tuesday in a nonconference game and at Waukesha South Friday in a league battle.
