Arrowhead girls stop North
Arrowhead's varsity girls basketball team handed host Waukesha North its 104th consecutive Classic 8 Conference loss Friday night by scoring a 48-23 victory over the Northstars.
The win improved AHS to 3-5 overall and 2-3 in league play. North fell to 0-5 in conference games.
Senior Jessica Goetz had her best game of the season, scoring 15 points. Junior point guard Amanda Bauer added 10 tallies for the winners.
Jenny Smith, the leading scorer for AHS, did not play due to illness.
AHS will host Sussex Hamilton Tuesday and Waukesha South on Friday.
