Hot start helps AHS boys win
Arrowhead's varsity boys basketball team, ranked No. 6 in the state according to the latest state AP poll, hit 8 of 9 3-point shots in the opening quarter and rolled over host Mukwonago Friday night in a Classic 8 Conference game, 77-52.
AHS improved to 8-0 in league play, one game better than Waukesha West. West will play at Arrowhead Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Overall the Warhawks are 13-2.
The Warhawks led 29-17 after the opening period and never were headed after that.
Charlie Fischer and Jonny Fischer scored 16 points each for Arrowhead. Blake Mattson had 12 points and Ricky Lovett had 9 tallies. Lovett also pulled down 9 rebounds.
