West leads AHS by just one game
Waukesha West's varsity baseball team holds a slim one-game lead over longtime rival Arrowhead in the Classic 8 Conference standings with play set to finish this week.
West leads the league with a 14-4 mark and has three games left to play. Arrowhead is 15-5 and has one game remaining.
The Wolverines will play Monday at home against Kettle Moraine, Tuesday at Frame Park against host Waukesha North and Wednesday at home against Mukwonago.
Arrowhead has just one game left against last-place Waukesha South (1-16).
Milwaukee Pius is third at 12-7 followed by Kettle Moraine (10-9), Catholic Memorial (10-10), Mukwonago (6-11), Waukesha North (6-11) and Waukesha South (1-16).
