Homicide investigation continues in Butschke case
Law enforcement officials said an autopsy was performed yesterday morning on the body of 28-year-old Beau Butschke.
The Ixonia man was last seen on July 14 and has been the subject of an intensive seach campaign conducted by law enforcement officials and volunteers efforts. On July 26, his body was discovered in his vehilce inside a locked unit at Ski Slide Storage, N7777 Ski Slide Rd., in Ixonia, after searchers detected an odor coming from the storage unit.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is treating the case as a homicide investigation. The cause of death and other matters related to the case remain under investigation.
