Thief takes trash mens' tips
Town of Oconomowoc – Police are trying to track down a Grinch who stole Christmas tips Dec. 23.
According to police, a person in a white van drove through the town and was witnessed taking tips and gift cards that were left out with the trash. The gifts were for Veolia garbage men.
The thefts occurred in several areas of the town including on Woodlake Drive, West Lake Drive, Misty Meadows subdivision, Lakeview subdivision and in the Okauchee area. Police said the thefts are something of an annual event but were more sporadic in years past.
