AHS girls win WIAA opener
Arrowhead's varsity girls basketball team defeated visiting Germantown Friady night in a WIAA Division 1 regional game, 51-47. The victory advanced the Warhawks (20-3) into Saturday's championship game at home at 7 p.m. against Menomonee Falls (19-4).
The Warhawks had defeated Germantown four weeks ago by more than 20 points.
AHS led from start to finish but watched as the visitors cut their deficit to one at 41-40 in the fourth quarter.
Kyle Davis led the winners with 16 points. Jenny Smith added 10 points for the Warhawks
