Accused KMHS taggers charged
Waukesha – A former Kettle Moraine High School student and her boyfriend admitted to authorities they spray painted graffiti on KMHS March 1 and what they painted were lyrics from a rap song, according to the criminal complaint filed March 9 in Waukesha County Circuit Court. Charged with two misdemeanor counts of graffiti each were Erika M. Bredlow, 19, of 1035 S. Waterville Road, Village of Summit, and Michael J. Rady, 19, of Watertown. Along with spray painting graffiti on the school they are accused of painting graffiti on a silo in the Town of Genesee. One phrase on the school was the same as on the silo and contained obscenities and threatened to kill people, the complaint said. A second phrase on the school said "die yuppie scum," the complaint said. Both Bredlow and Rady said they did not intend to frighten or threaten anyone, the complaint said. Rady said the profanity laced message was from a rap song and Sheriff’s Department detectives were able to confirm it was from a rap song, the complaint said.
