Let's say I'm driving in my SUV without my seatbelt on and going 40 MPH. A scooter that was going 35 MPH runs a red light and I hit him. The driver wasn't wearing a helmet. I was not following the law, but the scooter was until he ran the red light. He dies or is crippled and I get a ticket for CLICK IT OR TICKET. Great job Madison!
Laws need to make sense, but as you can see, this one doesn't. And yes... using your seatbelt is wise. I suggest everyone does so. But should we be forced to by the state? I already have a Mom & Dad. I don't want the State to adopt me.
Chief Tom: I'd look to brag about something else. :)
Before anyone asks, yes. I do have both car and a motorcycle and a license to drive them both.
