OHS staffing plan to be reviewed by Board
Rumors are flying about possible teacher layoffs at Oconomowoc High School for next year.
Superintendent Dr. Pat Neudecker said that "private conversations are taking place as part of our staffing plan. This is a normal part of what we do every year. More information about the high school staffing plan will be available at the School Board meeting on Tuesday night," she said.
The agenda for the April 18 School Board meeting includes discussion on the following item: "discussion of OASD Transformation Plan: OHS Staffing 2012-1013".
The Board meets at 7 p.m. in the Little Theater at OHS.

still losing teachers. What isn't adding up here? My guess is Walker's plan is NOT
working! At least we are getting a small stretch of road reconstructed near the
HS (that does not need to be redone). Walker "balanced" the budget by removing
funds from educating our students and putting them into road projects; makes
sense to me- NOT. And the timing of this is NOT related to the recall; this is the
normal time of year for teachers to find out if they will be employed the next year
across the state. Our population is growing, and we are reducing the number of
teachers. Our future is our children and we are not doing them any favors by not
educating them to the best of our abilities. When they grow up and find out that
our generation would rather keep a buck in our pocket then educate them, I
wonder how they will view us? I grew up with a national deficit, Reagan was the
President at the time...
