Pewaukee golf team qualifies for state meet
Pewaukee's varsity boys golf team grabbed one of the two state tournament berths Tuesday at the Jefferson sectional at Koshkonong Mounds in Fort Atkinson. Catholc Memorial won with 314 stokes and the Pirates took second at 331. Pewaukee finished 15 shots in front of third-place New Holstein.
The top two teams from each sectional earn state berths.
Corey Sweeney led the Pirates with 77. Other PHS scores were Nick Clement with 79, James Magliocco 86, Cal Condon 89 and Justin Leeds 95.
