City of Oconomowoc issues water restrictions
The City of Oconomowoc Utilities has issued an immediate restriction on all outside sprinkling and water use for the purposes of conserving water. These restrictions are for all residential and business customers served by the Oconomowoc Utilities.
Due to the unprecedented water pumpage rates over the last month, The City Utility is placing an immediate restriction on all outdoor water use including sprinkling until further notice. Customers with odd-numbered street addresses should use water for outdoor purposes only on the odd-numbered days of the month.
Customers with even-numbered street addresses are restricted to outdoor water use on the even-numbered days.
In the event that these proposed restrictions do not have an effect on the water system operation, and the weather does not subside, further actions may be deemed necessary.
If you have any questions on the Outdoor Sprinkling Restrictions, please call the Utility Office at (262) 569-2196.
