Brookfield shooting victim from Town of Merton
Maelyn M. Lind, 38, of the Town of Merton was among the dead after yesterday's shooting at Azana Spa in Brookfield, Lake Country Publications has learned. She was 38 years old.
A spokesperson for the family issued the following statement, "On behalf of the Lind family, we would like to thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. As you know, the family is going through a very difficult time and we would appreciate the media respecting the privacy of the family. The family at this time is grieving the loss of their lovely daughter, spouse, and mother. We would appreciate your cooperation at this time."
The family spokesperson described Lind as a, "wonderful person who always had a smile on her face."
