AHS boys fourth at state CC meet
Arrowhead's boys cross country team had its two-year reign as WIAA Division 1 state champions end Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids as they settled for fourth place in the field of 20 teams. Madison West won with 80 points followed by Madison La Follette with 108, Stevens Point 120 and Arrowhead 131.
Jake Dubnicka led the Warhawks as he ran a time of 16:00 over the 5,000-meter course and placed 15th in the field of 190 runners.
Other AHS runners were Ben Bierman in 21st, Will Conley 51st, Will Simons 52nd, Josh Bodnar 85th, Dillon Reynolds 161st and Steve Kelly 177th.
