Town of Vernon candidates gear up for first forum
Tomorrow, Feb. 6, Town of Vernon candidates have been invited to a discussion from 7 to 9 p.m. at Town Hall, W249 S8910 Center Drive.
There are several races in the town this spring. Supervisor Thomas Bird and challenger Rodell Singert will face off for the Supervisor No. 2 position.
Newcomer Daniel Scherbarth will take on Supervisor Bill Craig for the Supervisor No. 4 spot.
As well as Sandy Porter and Karen Schuh facing off for the clerk spot. Town Clerk Marie Kumershek is not seeking re-election.
Doors will open at 6:30. Residents are encouraged to submit written questions before the forum begins, or email them in advance to Merl Wagner at vernonforum.2013@yahoo.com. Questions should focus solely on the issues.
Residents are invited to attend the event and the forum will also be telecast on public access Channel 25.
