OHS walks away from sectional
Oconomowoc's varsity baseball team lost at Riverside Park in Janesville on Tuesday 9-7 to the host team, Janesville Craig. The Raccoons (11-16 overall) held a lead until the fifth inning. Walks (7) hurt Oconomowoc. Nash Bell was the losing pitcher. He walked six in five and two thirds innings. Zach Wilson and Blake Holbrook also pitched.
"Things were sailing along pretty well, but we got to the fifth inning and things changed, when they scored four runs," Pat Neary, Oconomowoc's head coach said.
Derek Doudna had three hits for Oconomowoc. Fernando Viso knocked in three runs for the Raccoons.
"Walks killed us, Neary added.
