North Prairie pitcher selected by Yankees
Kettle Moraine High School graduate Scott Matyas was pick No. 885 by the New York Yankees on June 10 in the 2009 Major League Baseball amateur players draft.
Matyas a right-handed pitcher and four-year starter at Kettle Moraine, recently completed his junior season for the University of Minnesota baseball team where he enjoyed a great deal of success on the mound for the Golden Gophers
