delsman wins pro tourney
Charlie Delsman of Hartland, 24, won his second professional golf tournament on Monday as he won the Capital Times Invitational at Odana Golf Course in Madison. He finished at 11-under-par.
Delsman shot rounds of 63-70 to win the crown by four shots over assistant UW-Madison men's golf coach Brian Brodell and Rick Witt of Blackhawk Country Club. . Delsman earned $1,500.
In his morning round he made eight birdies. He was 8-under through the first 12 holes.
Delsman is playaing regularly this summer on the NGA Hooters Tour. In his last six rounds, Delsman is 26-under-par.
