Dai's goal leads Arrowhead soccer
Senior Jordan Dai's direct free kick from just outside the box at the 61:20 mark was all Arrowhead soccer needed Thursday night in a 1-0 win over Menomonee Falls. The win advanced Arrowhead to the WIAA sectional final Saturday.
Falls goalie Ben Deederich was whistled for handling the ball outside the box, which lead the free kick. AHS goalie Max Jentsch kept Falls at bay over the final 15 minutes.
The Warhawks will face either Brookfield East or Brookfield Central at 2 p.m. Saturday, with a state-tournament berth on the line.
