Numerous locals qualify for state CC meet
Unsurprisingly, the Lake Country area enjoyed a wealth of success in Saturday's WIAA cross country sectionals, with several passing into next weekend's state meet at Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
The biggest storyline was who did not advance -- the Arrowhead girls fell short at their home course, snapping a streak of 10 consecutive years running in the state meet. For a full rundown, visit the Playoff Central portion of the Preps Alcove.
