St. John's loses playoff opener
The varsity football team at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy of Delafield lost its opening round WIAA Division 4 playoff game Tuesday night to host Winnebago Lutheran, 49-14.
St. John's ended the season with a 5-5 record. Winnebago Lutheran improved to 9-1 with the win.
TheLancers fell behind 21-7 at halftime as Jeff Jordan scored for St. John's on a 10-yard pass from Alex Hahn. Andrew Pole kicked the extra point.
Winnebago Lutheran made it 35-7 in the second half before St. John's got its final touchdown on a 57-yard pass from Hahn to Donald Jackson.
