Pewaukee girls defeat West
Pewaukee's varsity girls basketball team, ranked No. 7 in the state Division 2 AP Poll, avenged its only loss of the season Tuesday night when they defeated visiting New Berlin West in a Woodland Conference game, 54-40.
Pewaukee, now 14-1 overall and 12-1 in league play, lost to West in December by a 48-44 score.
This time PHS grabbed a 16-10 first quarter lead and never gave it up.
Hannah Frett fired in 14 points to lead Pewaukee. Jordyn Swan chipped in with 10 tallies and Natalie Wood had 9 tallies.
