Vehicle pulled from LacLaBelle
ON THIN ICE– A team of 12 people from Western Towing pulled a Toyota Prius hybrid from Lac LaBelle in Oconomowoc Sunday afternoon. The 3,000 pound vehicle broke through thin ice Saturday, 722 feet off the shoreline. No one was injured. The vehicle was submerged 24 feet and ended up on its roof. Workers were on the ice for four hours to retrieve the vehicle from the water.
