AHS girls lose to Memorial
Arrowhead's varsity girls basketball team let a 24-16 halftime lead slip away Friday night as visiting Waukesha Catholic Memorial defeated the Warhawks in a Classic 8 Conference game, 49-42.
CMH outscored the Warhawks 33-18 in the second half.
Haley Thiel and Courtney Gaberino led AHS in scoring with 11 and 10 points respectively. Jessica Goetz and Jenny Smith chipped in with 9 and 8 points for Arrowhead.
Elizabeth Guhl fired in 17 points for CMH.
Arrowhead fell to 8-11 overall and 3-9 in league play.
