AHS narrowly outranks Cedarburg boys
The Arrowhead Warhawks varsity boys basketball team is headed to the WIAA Division 1 Sectional on Friday.
Playing at home in the WIAA Regional championship game on Saturday the Warhawks defeated the Cedarburg Bulldogs 50-48.
Bulldogs' leader Chip Rank attempted a 3-point shot from halfcourt as the final horn sounded. The shot hit the rim but was ruled late. Rank, who scored 47 points in the Bulldogs vvictory over Homestead on Tuesday, finished with 31 points and 14 rebounds.
Charles Rushman scored 16 points for Arrowhead. Ben Mills had 11 rebounds. Russ Finco had 13 points for the winners.
